Spanish Property Clearance can announce that the long awaited Paramount Theme Park and studios project has been confirmed by councillor for Culture for Murcia, Pedro Alberto Cruz. Confirmation from Paramount was also given by an official this week.
Two areas have been announced as favourable, with Condado de Alhama golf resort built by Polaris World emerging as the front runner. The second possible site is in the Fuente Alamo area near to Hacienda del Alamo golf resort. This site is also very close to the new Murcia Corvera International Airport which is well under way and expected to be operational in 2011.
Spanish Estate Agents are already reporting surges of interest in land, new build and resale properties as well as commercial retail outlets. Local business consultants Calidain2business have reported strong interest for new business
start-ups and existing business sales such as bars, restaurants and retail ventures.
According to local property analysts, prices for villas, fincas /country houses and apartments as well as land are set to soar in the Costa Calida as the early investors and speculators move in to snap up bargain property.
